One of the Four Horsemen with No Remorse to Seek & Destroy, he was part of the Metal Militia and always got Whiplash. He rode the f-in lightning, he faded to black, his bell always tolls, and he was the F*cking Master of Puppets.

My name is Miranda. I am 20 years-old! I was born in Sandy, Oregon, and spent 6 months of my life up there; I honestly don't remember a thing. My birthday is on 11.12.1992. I am a Scorpio! After Oregon, I grew up for 19 years of my life in Nor Cal, Santa Rosa, CA Sonoma County, Wine Country.
Going into my interests and what makes me who I am:
I'm obsessed with chocolate, my only true love ever since my grandma took me to See's Candies for my first chocolate experience! I love all metal and rock music, especially influenced by: Metallica, Pantera, Iron Maiden, Five Finger Death Punch, Bullet For My Valentine, All That Remains, Mudvayne, Hell Yeah, Atreyu, As I Lay Dying, KillSwitch Engage, & Times Of Grace! Any rock/metal show I have the opportunity to go to is a freaking blast! >=) I've been playing electric and acoustic guitar on and off for about 4-5 years! I absolutely adore animals, especially cats, dogs, and horses! I love drawing with pastels and prismacolors, painting in watercolor, printmaking, and creating digital collages! I have taken 5 years of visual art classes all throughout middle and high school. I am a photomaniac, capturing every given rad moment! I love nature: bird of paradise, sunsets, phases of the moon, sunsets, hibiscus, plumeria, hummingbirds. I love anything vibrant and colorful: the colors purple and blue are my faves, anything leopard print and peacock print. Food is my best friend! I truly love and value my family and best friends Danielle and Alexandra. They will always be on my side and have my back! ♥ I recently discovered my passion is working with kids, after taking a childhood development class at SRJC and volunteering with kindergarteners at my old elementary school.
I spent 6 months in L.A. gaining some job experience, getting to know the area, and meeting and associating myself with some "interesting people" to see if that path was something that could work to my advantage and be beneficial for my growth and development. Over that course of time, I learned that the independent and difficult path I had decided to take wasn't feeding nor leading me toward the my dream of progressing forward toward a positive and promising future, making a living out of working with kids, and the happiness, satisfaction, love, and support I was hoping and trying everyday to receive in return.
I truly believe that the future ahead has some wonderful things in store for me. After having moved back to Santa Barbara this last December with my family and letting my closest friends back into the loop of my life, I can proudly say that I let 2013 in with a huge bang. I wanted to start this year fresh and I must say that everything in 2013 has been nothing but a complete blessing. All has fallen into place and it's as if I didn't have to try as strenuously as I did in LA. Fitting in and making something of yourself in the big city was very difficult, but I was able to manage. But, it's the best feeling in the world being back home and feeling like I actually belong and have a purpose. I got the best part-time job I could have ever asked for within a month of living here, which is babysitting a six year-old little boy, who absolutely adores me. I applied late for my first semester at SBCC this year as a part-time student, but got all the Early Childhood Education courses I wanted.
Lastly, the condition of my social life after having moved from northern California and leaving Los Angeles was difficult to deal with. Having my best friends so far away and not having anybody in the local area to interact with, form a friendship/relationship with, and spend time doing fun things with was hard for me not to have. However, at the beginning of this month I met a very kind, sweet, and giving guy, who is definitely becoming worth my time and energy. His name is Michael, he's twenty-five, and was born, raised, and still currently resides in Ventura. We are taking it one day at a time, and I am happy to say that there was absolutely no awkwardness on the first date and the ones that followed. We have lots in common, we have many of the same values, we respect one another, we show each other kind gestures to demonstrate we care, our parents approve, we both have our own unique sense of humor, and love music. I feel like the social interaction and getting to know somebody was the missing piece of the puzzle. I am learning to live in the present and look forward to the future, rather than worrying about it and rushing it. I am also learning the importance of healing up from the past, and becoming more open-minded to the idea of letting new people and experiences into my life. All I know is that I have an exciting summer ahead and I definitely look forward to what the future brings in the long and short-term. "The future isn't written yet, so make it a good one"—Back To The Future III.
