I really hate to have to admit this, but for some odd reason I've started to follow... golf, there I said it.
It's almost 90 degrees at my house, I am currently sitting in front of the air conditioner typing this, and on another page, I'm keeping tabs (no pun intended) on Tiger Woods at the PGA Championship. You can tell I'm bored... Yes he's still got a 4 shot lead!!!... << >>... sorry.

I decided to clean out my Ipod tonight,a nd I just realized how many songs I had on there that I didn't use. I think I deleted somewhere in the area of 100 songs with artists ranging from James Taylor, to the Police, to Journey. Opened up a lot of space for new songs. Hooray!!!
I just got my permit a couple weeks ago, and up until then I never realized how stupid people can be when the drive, so far I have been passed by a guy driving in the brakedown lane on an exit ramp from the highway, watched a few people almost get into head on collisions, and one of those was on a detour from the interstate, which took us onto a back road, where the speed was 50. I have to admit though, I get a good laugh out of it though, like when someone goes flying past you and a couple miles up the road you pull in behind them at a traffic light, or even better, when they get stuck behind another car going slower than I was. Just makes me want to honk the horn and wave.
My mom and my sister went on the American Heritage Tour, a trip that takes them to Washington DC, Phili, Gettysburg, New York and others were in DC today and the bus took a stop at the White House. The bus left the tourists at the White house and left. It was supposed to return in ten minutes. 30 minutes later the bus driver calls the tour director to tell him that he was in a fender bender with a taxi and that he was going to be late. My mom, sister, and the other 40 people on the bus were stranded outside the White House. So the group decides to walk to a park near by. Now my mom had already called me and my dad to tell us what had happened and we found it quite funny. My sister calls me back once they reach the park and her and her freind are screaming into the phone about how they had been playing with the squirrels in the park. I thought about hanging up on her but was afraid of what she would do to me when I got home. It's 8:45 and I just called my mom to see where they were. Apparently they had finally gotten onto the bus and were now headed up to a hotel in Gettysburg to spend the night. I would love to see how tired my sister is going to be in the morning. I feel sorry for my mom having to deal with her, but not sorry enough that I would do it.
Why do people find Fender guitars made out of the US bad. I own a MIM (Made In Mexico) Strat that sounds just as good as any Fender guitar I've heard. I don't know if its the whole status thing where MIA Fenders cost more and are made right here in the USA that makes people feel that there above other Fenders, or if it's the stereotype that items made in China, Mexico, etc are cheaply made. A year ago I bought my strat. The guy at the music store told me this...

Thats not that huge of a difference. My Strat cost me $275 used and it was in perfect condition. It's one of the best sounding guitars I've ever played. So I don't see what there is to hate about out of the country Fenders. So next time YOur going to spend a 1000 bucks on an MIA Fender just try comparing to an out of country one. It could save you a lot of cash.
