That's a shame. But as cliche as it is, you gotta do what you gotta do, even if that means taking leave from UG. It's a good place, but it's always sad to see knowledgeable guys like you go. Good luck whatever you are doing |
Yeah. I pretty much reached the point I wanted to a lot faster than I thought. I missed you guys even if it was only a week...
Time to return to my metal brothers in the Tr00est forum on UG.

Greetings from Toronto!
I can't wait to hear the kind of consistency that I hear on The Aurora Veil throughout a whole album! It's going to be fantastic anticipating the mysteries of the tracks on there
Here's for hope that you're able to get a tour over to Canada The sooner the better By the time you get here, I'm convinced you'll have a solid following. |
Thanks for the comment! We'd definitely love to make it to Canada so hopefully it happens sometime in 2009! We can't wait to get this album out there for everyone to hear. Thanks for all your support.

NosferatuZodd09 wrote on Jun 1st, 2008 6:45pmeveryone seems to not notice the blatant lack of originality in the first album aside the slow arpegiated melodies but otherwise its like "oh wow so its the same old gothenburg style riffs, with a few dropped tuning chords, and octaves and relatively easily slow solos....... and you call this shit new and refreshing?"

Now that I've made up my mind, I really don't like Arsis. The first album had good potential and I thought it was an indicator for progression in the future, but like many bands they just took what they'd already done, and applied what they thought was the Necrophagist formula to it: more technical, more flashy. Except Necro have their own sound, and Arsis now sound obnoxiusly technical. Diamond for Disease wasn't bad either actually. After the 2nd full length it clearly went downhill. This band is practically becoming another Deicide or Bolt Thrower. *bore* | quote |

And cheers for the Uelman link, i've never played Diablo so I wasn't aware of him, but I do much like what was in that link, i'll have to look for a torrent of his sometime. quote |

And if you have any specific requests i'll be happy to oblige them. But just 'some Uematsu' is a bit vague considering all the material I have, haha. quote |
