Thanks a buttload though man, if the history/cache/not up to date software was the problem, then i'm all set. Thanks again, man.

I totally just realized how rarely i take notice of those, "NEW SOFTWARE LOLOL" things that pop up, so i updated everything and SO FAR it's running smoothly.

For the record, i bought it earlier this year when my old XP400 died. Like, around July.

Yeah, pages of safari. Like i'll go the UG, and then to Facebook, and when i get to Facebook (or some other random website) the spinning wheel comes around. I usually use Safari, microsoft messenger, TextEdit, and iTunes the most.

Says it's Mac OS X version 10.5.8 and i dunno how to see how much memory i have left. It's got to be a good amount though, i don't really download much. I DO watch flash videos relatively often, if that makes a difference.

Woot, thank you man.

So, you know the spinning wheel or multi-colored death? Yeah, thats happening at an alarming rate. Like once every 5 pages or so. Thoughts?

I saw your "official Mac Tech" thing, is that serious? Because i have an issue with my Macbook Pro that i need a little insight on.

All you gotta do to play Guns songs is have fun, man. To be able to play the notes is one thing, it's the energy that makes it sound like Guns. I've never had lessons, Slash's never had lessons, however I am looking for a good teacher too. I've had extensive music theory taught to me for a long long time, and I'm looking for a teacher that does advanced music theory AND technique. It seems like they're one or the other...

But yeah, man, thank you for requesting!

rock.meet Slash wrote on Nov 1st, 2009 12:41am

Dude, you are most definitly awesome. I see Slash the same way! He plays what he feels, not how fast people want him to. I try to tell my shredder friends that a lot. They just don't get it :( lol. Thank you though! One day, you will get the chance to meet him and you'd better take it! He's so cool. So down to earth.

I agree. Our gear IS awesome lol. I'm still looking for MY JCM800, I have Marshall's solid state version right now for practice, and I'm saving and looking and saving some more for a 1983 2203 Superlead head! On my amp, the 5210, it has an aftermarket Jenson speaker, which is really bassey. While Slash has a lot of mids and bass, I don't use a lot on my amp to counter the low-end of the speaker. That being said, I don't go light on either. I keep the treble at about 6, the mids at 7, and the bass at 4, as Slash has that distinct mid boost. Sounds pretty good, more like the Use Your Illusion tour live sound than the Appetite sound that I'm just dying to have.

Definitly man! Slash is the shit! I got the chance to meet him too a couple years back. I looked at your gear on your post and thought you must like Slash. Les Paul with SD Alnico II's? Yeah. JCM800? Yeah lol. Me too!

Like shite!
Need's a set up after a 2 week shipping quest from the US to the UK :

It feel's amazing though, the neck feels amazing and the 7.25" radius takes getting used to but very comfortable. I love it!

I want to get a tele somewhere down the road. Debating on which model to get

that tele you got looks awesome. how does it play?

haz_uk wrote on Aug 12th, 2009 11:53pm

not too bad, went to sonisphere a couple of weeks ago and that rocked my socks indeed. apart from that, im trying to save money and finishing my course off over this month (had complications in the academic year), so i'm going out very little and just doing general house things. my parents have been touring europe for the last 3 weeks so i've had the house to myself.

it's been a somewhat reflective period. i like my own company. when do you get to see her next?

by the by, if you have facebook, click my boxy thingy and add me, yo.

haz_uk wrote on Aug 12th, 2009 11:37pm

dude, that's totally awesome. i haven't seen the aerodyne tele 'in the flesh' so to speak. hope you enjoy it :)

also i just realised the second last comment you sent me and haven't read it. i suck.

no miss haz right now. women are scum and i hate them all passionately. i'm going celibate for a while. that is, until i meet some totally smoking metal chick with loads of money to buy me guitars and shit. one can only dream.

how's your summer?

Roughly £700 when combined with postage so a bargain!
I'll probably sell the strat for £500

Thank you very much for the head's up on it
Sweet! I'm glad you didn't hesitate. I would've gone for it if I had the scratch. Yea, selling one is the way to go ... it's buying a Tele for £200! Congrats!

nice one, man. i remember looking into buying an aerodyne bass many years ago, they're funky instruments indeed. i'm looking forward to pics.
