That's right! I got a brand new amp! (Well... New to me anyways.) My main stay Crate G 200w died on me. All the lights come on... Just no sound. I'm still not sure what's wrong with it. It just started doing that one day. Very weird.
Just to get it looked at around here is a $60 fee. That's not including whatever it costs for the parts and labor to fix it. I ended up getting another great Craigslist snag, and found a Rogue GS-100R for exactly what it would cost just to get mine looked at!
This thing is awesome. It's in great shape. Everything is in working order. It's EXTREMELY loud! Which is always a definite plus. It has a very warm clean tone is is very desirable for the music I play. It's overdrive is weak. But that is why we have pedals!
I've got it all hooked up in my recording set up now, and will start recording with it tomorrow! This should improve my overall guitar tone a lot. What I do right now, is plug straight in to my interface. Which gives me next to no control over tone besides on my pedal, and in my program. This is going to be a great new addition to my set up, and quite a nice (and extremely affordable!) replacement for my Crate. All around I am happy with it!
