Over the summer i have written about 4 songs now i am writing about one a week. i usually get an idea sometime in Fifth period at school and i write it down. I get home walk the dogs snd try it out. Most of my stuff sounds good even though i don't have my guitar when i am writing it.
I finally got a drummer for my band, my guitarist, me the bassist/ vocals, hopefully soon ill have a second guitarist because i write all of my songs for 2 guitars which is very hard work.

I am starting to get better in my bass skills and I want to by a new bass and change it up. My brother says my hands are too small for a five string bass (I have big hand though) so what I might do iss get a four string put the low BEAD strings on si it is a five sting minus the high G. Thousand foot Krutch did that on The Flame In All of Us and that is why the bass is so hard to tab. Of coure Iam going to have to put pickups in the BEAD bass to handle different frequencys. so If anybody has a suggstion please post a comment.
In Christian music there are ton of new choices: from Casting crowns and Mercy Me to UnderOath and Demon Hunter. There is a huge range of christian music to choose from. I suggest for people who like alternative to look into Hawk Nelson and Switchfoot. For people who like Three days Grace look into Kutless. For those heavy rockers out there there is Demon Hunter and Undreroath. For punk rockers there is MXPX. Kutless is coming out with a new album the 24th of june so go get it. Hawk Nelson's new album came out mot too long ago. There is alot of christian music out there so check out those bands i put up there.
