If it were up to me I'd never leave
but the time has come to get some relief
It's been a joy spinning around and around
in this stolen office spinning dreams
Time comes when a cowboy
must ride to the sunset
Hang up his spurs stop spinning his guns then
red-faced and burned out he's stepping aside
to the side square-dancing with reality
but it's just another day in the shade
it's raining fire but this umbrella is fine
I got it made it here in the shade
So here's to you on this trail I've blazed
you think it's rough but baby
you'll be amazed
I just picked up where my daddy got off
he fell off
he fell off before the gallow was raised
She watch that world go round and round
always something happening.
She watch that shit both day and night
must be something in it.
What's the point of no return?
What's the point living it?
I don't think that you can call it art.
Art don't imitate life, that's just
something that gets read between the lines.
The sky could fall and she don't care
she's just smelling flowers
She's had that dream about most her life
awesome crushing power
Ignore that beast and close your eyes
it's closer every hour
I don't think that you can call it art.
Art don't imitate life, that's just
something that gets read between the lines.
This is a lullaby I wrote when my first son was born. It's only been 7 years but I finally have the means to record it. { Tags : clint, hamilton, lullaby, goodnight, nylon }
A short sample of a song that's in "development". Originally recorded in Garageband using the instruments found in that program and my little Washburn Rover. I then transferred it to Logic Express * for further tweaking and messin' around. { Tags : Unking, CKH, Clint, Hamilton }
"4 Holy Fools" - One of two songs recorded for a demo back in 1996. We got third place in a contest sponsored by a local radio station so we won free studio time. This one received a little airtime.
This is a trip through my 7 year old son's musical imagination. He got a hold of my iMac and started plugging away with Garageband after very little coaching. Enjoy! Although there is no guitar featured in his song (even though I begged him to let me rip a solo) I thing this is the start of something big.
C'mon and party...!! { Tags : oscar, song }
First time actually recording an amp on my own. Strat through Kustom KGA65 using the mics on my Zoom H4. What a cool sound. Playing is alittle sloppy but whatever.
