Last night, Dec. 7 2008, I had my first METTALICA EXPERIENCE!! It was sic, just a perfect show. Having Lamb of God as the perfect opening band was just the cherry on top of a pie! When Mettalica came on all of Rexall Place just roared. At times the stadium was louder than the music for christ sake! Thats just how we role in Edmonton. Mettalica them selfs though were spot on. The drums were perfect, the solos fast and furious, and my favorite, the riffs were as fast and crunchy as ever. My only complaint was that at times the vocals sounded a bit off, but really... WHO GIVES A FUCK!! It was just perfection. Actually one more complaint; I was in line for 45 minutes just to get a fucking T-shirt!
But anywase, METTALICA ROCKED HARD!! EDMONTON LOVES METTALICA
I miss the old metallica still though. I wanted to go see them with the sword but backed out at the last minute to deal with some other stuff. Wish I couldve been around for the Ride the Lightning days
