The wait for KoRn's 9th studio album is finally comeing to an end! The new album dubbed KoRn III: Rmember Who You Are, is set for a very near July 12-13 in the UK, Canada, and US. With promises of an old school KoRn vibe and the absence of Pro Tools, this next instalment in KoRn's life is bound to be a good one. For those that dont already know the album is being produced by old time producer Ross Robinson that helped KoRn produce KoRn and Life Is Peachy. KoRn was also just recently signed to Roadrunner Records. They have one single out so far called Oildale (Leave Me Alone) and a video was released for it May 31. I belive KoRn are coming back to their prime, and they are ready to melt the faces off listeners all around the world!
New KoRn Album has switched to a early 2010 releas
Its seems that the new KoRn album is switching to an early 2010 release which means that we have to wait longer for new material! That also means that their putting more time and energy into the new songs which adds up to a better KoRn album! If you dont know by now, the new album is being produced by former KoRn producer Ross Robinson who produced their KoRn and Life is Peachy albums. With the power of their old producer, hopefully we will have an old school sounding KoRn album to thrash out to in the future!
KoRn's next album will be released next year!! I know it seem like last week theur Untitled album came out but for people who were dissapointed with the last album you'll be glad to hear that the cd is being produced by Ross Robinson. Hes the man resposible for KoRn's first few albums and for SlipKnoT's amazing self-titled album! Jonathan Davis also quoted that their next album is going to have an old school KoRn sound. Could we possibly be getting another Follow the Leader on our hands? I hope so cause that album was definetly their one of their best! If you have any info thats not on this blog then plz leave a comment.
Heres a video of their groung breaking song Blind.
Im not to fond of AC/DC to be honest with you. I kinda realized a few years ago that I perfer deeper sounds. I then got into KoRn and realized that they use 7 strings. The sound of a 7 string realy draws me in, so I wonder that if a band I dont like to much like AC/DC switched to a 7 sting, would it make me like them more?
Last night, Dec. 7 2008, I had my first METTALICA EXPERIENCE!! It was sic, just a perfect show. Having Lamb of God as the perfect opening band was just the cherry on top of a pie! When Mettalica came on all of Rexall Place just roared. At times the stadium was louder than the music for christ sake! Thats just how we role in Edmonton. Mettalica them selfs though were spot on. The drums were perfect, the solos fast and furious, and my favorite, the riffs were as fast and crunchy as ever. My only complaint was that at times the vocals sounded a bit off, but really... WHO GIVES A FUCK!! It was just perfection. Actually one more complaint; I was in line for 45 minutes just to get a fucking T-shirt!
But anywase, METTALICA ROCKED HARD!! EDMONTON LOVES METTALICA
I just created the COLD Army group for all of the COLD fans out there. All the other COLD groups were lame so I decided to make my own. If you havent herd of COLD then follow the link to one of their best vids. ENJOY!!
The past week there was a vote to see who would make it to the final round in the Best Video of the Year award of Fuse. It was a match up between Britney Spears and SlipKnoT. Well I guess theres to many horny guys beating it to her new video than watching the truly deserving video, Pyhcosocial. SlipKnoT lost by alot but had the second most votes out of the entire thing! To see the truly deserving video of this contest, heres a link...
Has any one on this site ever here of a great band called COLD? I havent seen a single person yet! If you havent herd of them heres a link to a good song from them. I warn you the video is kindda cheesy but the music is great, and it features Johnathan Davis from KoRn!!
