Isn't it weird when that stuff happens? I had a similar instance a few months ago with an old girlfriend (however it's been about 4 years...not 25...) The bass forum sure has changed! everyone has a different opinion of the sdescription of an a guitarist, bassist musician or artist etc, for example to me aguitarist is someone who is reasonably good at guitar and similarly with bass, to others it may be someone who primarily plays guitar or bass, ie there main instrument. to me a musician is someone who writes music, to my guitar teacher its someone who can play music as they read it for the first time whitout even needing to hear it, point is everyones different and a bassist DOES have to help drive a song, not just sit and play, stop getting so annoyed at me for asking a question man
