Shitty Guitar Strings!

Current mood: pissed off

Ok, first off, I'm like, really pissed at the moment.  I was playing my guitar like I always do, no problems what so ever and then......... my string breaks.  It was the e string, so it could have been worse.  But all I had was a First Act string to replace it........ ugh.  Any way, I got my guitar restrung and about two days later, the same string breaks!!! Two Days!  And I wasn't even playing hard!  WTF MAN!!  I ended up having to string the guitar with a b string and tune it up a step.

first act strings suck, i have had to use a few in a pinch before but i change them out with ernie ball the second i get. i try to change my strings every 3 to 6 months when i can, but i really don't snap strings like i used to.

^ 3-6 months? Wow, I need a new set every 2-3 weeks. I play hours on end, and every day though.

Not true.
Some are just overpriced.
Like D'ar chromes.
I need to change guitar strings every 2 weeks.
I also buy the Silver plated ones which have a three year warranty.

DR's never break, NEVAR!!!!111!!!
they're a few bucks more than ernie ball's but last forever, i change them like once every 6-7 months, not cause they break, but because im too cheap to buy string cleaner and they get grimey(that happens to all string brands if you don't clean them)but i've gone for almost a year with the same ones before i changed them(they didn't break though) and they stay in tune really well, even with prolonged (strat)whammy bar use and their tone is beyond the best
