Nice backing track, there's actually a bootleg of the song without the solo? Nice man 
The solo is a little loud in the mix, but the good playing makes up for it 
As mentioned before, relax it out a bit, add some vibrato to the notes, let it flow! Great tone though on the solo, if it was slightly quieter in the mix, I'd think it was Gilmours own rig :

It needs to flow a little more, its a very phrased base solo with a bluesy/psychedelic feel. Gilmour used an MXR compressor to to squeeze the notes and give held notes that "bloom" sound after the attack. Try it out, you'll like the sound. comp---->dist.----->amp
