Nice backing track, there's actually a bootleg of the song without the solo? Nice man :D
The solo is a little loud in the mix, but the good playing makes up for it :)
As mentioned before, relax it out a bit, add some vibrato to the notes, let it flow! Great tone though on the solo, if it was slightly quieter in the mix, I'd think it was Gilmours own rig :p:
Pink Floyd own my soul, and you did a great job of this, so nice!

Sounded pretty good man. I love playing this song too, one of my fav. solo's of all time. Try to relax a little in the solo and add a little more slow vibrato to bent notes (its supposed to sound like singing)
It needs to flow a little more, its a very phrased base solo with a bluesy/psychedelic feel. Gilmour used an MXR compressor to to squeeze the notes and give held notes that "bloom" sound after the attack. Try it out, you'll like the sound. comp---->dist.----->amp
