I already did. I started to listen to them because of Damnation, and am currently addicted.
Deliverance itself isn't great as an album, bit individual songs from it (A Fair Judgement, Deliverance, For Absent Friends) are amazing. But the whole Wilson produced era of them is great.

jimmyled wrote on Dec 13th, 2009 2:03amYour user title... It's Opeth, right? Death Whispered a Lullaby is one of my favourite songs ever (Damnation is probably my money best spent. Epic album). quote |
yournextofkin wrote on May 31st, 2009 10:59amYeah that SE Custom 26 is tempting! Or even better... a PRS MARK TREMONTI SIGNATURE EDITION!
Vetta... mmmmmhmmmm... I wonder when a new one will come out... quote |
yournextofkin wrote on May 25th, 2009 11:29amAgreed.
No tasty gear yet, being a student has drained my bank account lol
But PRS brought out an SE Custom 24 (the one before was a 22) that extra 2 DOES make all the difference haha. Plus they've got some sweet colours on it - go check it out!
As far as amps go I may just get a Line 6 POD instead but the X3 Live seems unreliable as a lot of people have had problems so I may as well just wait for the next one!! quote |

Hey man, we've been teamed up for the UG Real Men Of Genius Competition. Check out the thread here:

Then we'll discuss tactics. Let's make this awesome. |
Heh, I just learned of this. My internet was shut off for 2-3 days and I just saw the pairings. Man, we will kick ass. PM me to start out, for people do not need to see our tactics...

Just out of curiosity, you don't play guitar, so how the hell did you end up on this site anyway?
And I lol'd at your epic scrabble game. |
I typed in 'demotivational pictures' onto google. Lulz ensued.
And thanks

undecided1993 wrote on Feb 28th, 2009 9:05pmhaha, I can't say i've ever come across a hardcore Iced Earth fan, I can only imagine..
Yeah, I need to find some people to come, none of my female friends are willing to come either
Yeeeeeeeeeah, I would love to go to Wacken, but I really have no idea how i'd afford it, and I probably would fail at travelling there.. quote |
undecided1993 wrote on Feb 28th, 2009 8:54pmNo, I didn't, i'd have loved to though it sounded pretty damn good plus I think the line up was better then..do you reckon you'll go again? Or planning on any other festivals this year? quote |
undecided1993 wrote on Feb 28th, 2009 8:20pmHaha, that is such a good description!
Awww, you went to that? I had tickets for Birmingham but couldn't go And err, I have no gigs planned, although i'm thinking about buying tickets for Bloodstock, although that isn't til August...how about you? quote |
undecided1993 wrote on Feb 28th, 2009 6:26pmYeah, it was. Judas Priest, haha. they're so old now yet they still dress an act as if they're in the 80s..i'm not really into them, but they still put on a good show ...been to any good gigs recently? quote |
undecided1993 wrote on Feb 28th, 2009 2:40pmHaha. Yeah, it was although they weren't headlining, so they only played about 8 songs quote |

Haha, nice. I'll get raping that 'add' button then!
Woops! My BFMV friend has just come onto msn. A massive argument shall undoubtably ensue. I may be busy for some time. |
Godspeed my friend

Yeah, I plan on starting my own band/joining another. I'll keep an eye out for you, if I still remember by September. I have a friend in Swansea who is obsessed with BFMV, and we have many lengthy disagreements over them (which usually ends with me yelling Cannibal Corpse song names at him).
Any idea how easy to come by are gigs for the aspiring metaller? |
Ah we may definitely have to meet up then!
And I don't blame you, Stripped Raped and Strangled mohfuckaaaaaaa!
I reckon they're quite easy to get, never played any myself, but so long as you can win over a few of the annoying wannabe's, you'll find you can get a gig anywhere, just set up a Myspace, be generous with the 'Add' button and you'll almost be given gigs, a few good venues in Cardiff/Newport/Swansea that'll play some proper metal.
