Favorite bands :
Led Zeppelin! Eric Clapton, The Who- all those good ol' bands. I love Black Sabbath and Judas Priest, but I hate nearly all modern metal bands. I'm not big on punk... but I do really like Nirvana and some other punk influenced groups. My favorite band of the current era is Incubus, they are an incredibly versatile and talented group. Joe Bonamassa is one of my favorite blues artist, as well as Gov't Mule. I recently discovered the Pixies. I've also recently been getting more into weirder sounding stuff, like Pink Floyd and Primus. Also, Chuck Berry is the TRUE king of rock n roll. Elvis is a joke.
Favorite guitarists :
Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton are the best living guitarist. I've always had a soft spot for Angus Young. I don't like most neo-classical guitarist, but everyone must admit that Randy Rhoads had it goin' on.
Favorite bassists :
I don't know much about bass technique, but Les Claypool is pretty amazing. John Entwistle from The Who was really good as well.
