Thanks for the tips, my friend :) I will definitely take you up on your offer of your practice routine. If it could help me to get anywhere near to how you play, I'll take any help I can get! Though, I really don't know much theory so I'm not sure what cycle fourths are (I took lessons years ago with a cool teacher but he didn't stress theory very much at all...haha). I'll certainly check out those DVDs (especially when I get some cash...haha). I already do practice scales along with a metronome but I just can't seem to get past a certain speed. I totally agree about making up one's own patterns during practice (that's basically what I did for my blues songs I have posted). Anyway, thanks so much for your help. I look forward to hearing more of your mp3s when you post em'!

Sorry for another comment but I was just wondering what kinds of practice techniques you use to get so fast with your soloing? I just can't seem to get the whole speed thing down so any practice tips would be appreciated! You've definitely got some mad talent going on with the guitar :)

Great work. The Canon Folk is a great way to give a bit more style from the numerous Canon Rocks.

Thanks for the add man. Like your jams too. There are moments of pure and utter BRILLIANCE in that Natural Minor one.

one uestion about the X2 interface, does it record 4 simultaneously?

yeah the 4 inputs can all be recorded at the same time. however, i dont think that you'll be able to make a seperate track on the program for all of them if you record them all at the same time; only firewire interfaces allow this

nice jams. the pod studio would be a good recording tool to get, and it would work decently with your spider as long as you plug into the MP3/CD input jacks to avoid the modeling changing the pod's modeling.
