for some reason, people think guitarists should wear leather. yea, but leather isnt very comfertable on stage. you sweat, and you feel like your in a friggin desert. wear simple shirts to gigs, not leather. you'll collapse on stage from the heat. lotsa lights are coming down on you, and you'll be sure to go to a point of fainting.
try black jeans and something cool with it. wear your band colors, but avoid leather clothing and chains. chains can seriously affect your playing, especially when a chang clangs with the guitar, a high pitched noise can slice throught the music.
