TBH, I have no idea.

I've looked at what the members have created afterwards, and it's nowhere near Icecross, from what I remember, it's all solo-ish stuff, and just weird..Not so much as dark

Must've been the Iceland scene back then haha

Yeah, Iceland, wasn't it?

I didn't really expect such darkness from one record, from that era none the less with all its disco and hippies and what not or whatever.

It's so simple, yet almost creepy in a way, the creepiest album cover i've seen was Cryptic Tales - Valley of the Dolls, accompanied by the sound on the album itself, works so well on many levels. Nothing like Icecross though.

Yes, exactly my view. I was pretty intrigued by a band making stuff like this. Although, there was always Black Sabath and Bedemon. :
