That thread was amazing for two reasons:
1.The level of idiocy of some people was astounding.
2.The fact that several well educated people got together and defended the act of eating cum with both logic and well thought out examples.
That's why I <3 The Pit

Revelation wrote on Sep 4th, 2009 2:18amBTW. forgot to mention that I also own a schecter studio 4 with the EMG-HZ's. Good bass I like the feel of it but the tone just wasn't me at all. Too thin imo. The Ibanez is a much fuller sounding bass. thought you'd like my comparison on that since you mentioned you wanted a different bass for a metal tone. quote |
Revelation wrote on Sep 4th, 2009 2:15amDon't be afraid to get a lower priced BTB. I've never played a BTB I didn't like. Of course, I do recommend saving up and going all out because The 775 is an amazingly comfortable bass to play on and the sound is pretty versatile really. quote |
Revelation wrote on Aug 31st, 2009 6:20amYou asked about my ibanez and i'm gonna assume you mean my btb775 as it's a new aquisition of mine. I love it. great feel. nice warm tone. You can get a brighter tone if you want it with the built in eq but i use it for the warm tone mostly. I managed to get a similiar tone to Led Zeppelin's - Dazed and Confused out of it with my tube amp but that meant turning the eq like this bass on 2 o'clock mid's(set to 800hz) turned to 1:30 and treble set to 11'oclock and the tweeter on my 4x12 all the way down. if i turned the bass down and the treble up I'd get a brighter, metalish tone from it. great bass. if you have the chance play it and buy it. quote |

I can make due if you're in.

OH, that would depend on your personal preference. I play just about anything asked of me.
My bud Dave loves King's X, though. I'd be satisfied with any old Metallica, or Megadeth, anything guitar-related, really.
How about this, I'll name two songs we'd like to hear, and you name two songs you'd be able to play.

(Beggs area) Highways aren't too big of a deal for me, it's when I'm in traffic in a more civilized place. The whole clutch nonsense. The farthest north I've been is Tulsa Hills shopping center which isn't really Tulsa. |
That's only a few miles east of where I am.
If you can manage a highway, you can get to where I am easy.

I'm about to move out no east nowhere sand springs within a month, so that'd probably be easier on you.
If I get my way, though, I'll be around 15th and yale, which isn't far north, but it's getting there.
You skilled with a highway?
