Favorite bands :
Well, my favorite bands vary a lot, but my all time favorites rarely change. They are The Bastard Suns (www.myspace.com/the bastardsuns), Jawbreaker, Jets To Brazil, Big D and the Kids Table, The Gaslight Anthem, Avail, Buju Banton, He Is Legend, Minor Threat, Tsunami Bomb, Tom Waits, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Drive-By Truckers, The Mars Volta, as much shit as I get for it, Lil' Wayne, OutKast, Mac Maine, Eyedea and Abilities, Unwritten Law, Elliott Smith. I listen to much more, but these are a lot of my favorites.
Favorite guitarists :
As far as guitar work goes, I love Jeff Loomis, Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks, Claudio Sanchez, R.L. Burnside. Not a very good list, bu it will do for now.
Favorite books :
House Of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski is my favorite, Charles Bukowski is my favorite author so anything by him, especially Hollywood. Anything by Henry Rollins, Ernest Hemingway, Jack Kerouac, Jack Micheline, Charles Baudelaire. I read a lot of philosophy and mythology books. I like biographies of people who I find interesting, even thouh that sounds dumb because why would you read a biography of someone who you felt was boring?
Favorite tv :
The Office, History Channel, Discovery Channel, Scrubs, That 70's Show, Chappelle's Show, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

Well, I'm Dakota. South Dakota to be precise. Now we can skip that lame joke. I play guitar and bass, looking into a sitar. I love to write and draw. I'm also constructing a shrine to Blake Schwarzenbach. I'm into just about any kind of music, every genre has some sort of band that I like, maybe more. Except maybe praise music, not too into praise or gospel. I'm a senior in high school right now and looking to go to the University of Georgia after high school and major in English Literature and Creative Writing.
