On saturday, Strike X played from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the Kadina Rotunda, we weren't getting paid, but we were allowed to busk, so we made around $55. It was a really sweet gig.
later that day, the guitarist from the band, and I then went to go n play some songs at his uncles 40th, we did everything acoustically, includiong songs like Get Free by the Vines, Holiday by Green Day, etc. it was also a good gig.
I was surprised how well my voice held up as I 4 hours of ny day was spent singing. I also have some pretty awesome blood blisters on my fingers.

ok... lately i have been feeling a bit stressed...
I know that i am on holidays, and the point of holidays is to unwind and to cast away the cruel bindings of school...
But the thing is.. I have two tests waiting for me as soon as I get back, and I hate tests, I wouldn't have been as worried if I did them at the end of the term like everyone else.. but I couldn't do them as i started my holidays a week early. so I have got two tests that I haven't studied for...

also, I have got an english assignment that i have to have finished by the end of week three, but i think I'll be able to do that one.
so i was thinkin to my self 'i wanna write another song...' but i cant come up with any ideas for a song. so I was wondering if peopel could give me some ideas for me to write about. keep in mind that the band is a rock band, so nothing to heavy.
