Mine has a pretty heavy distortion on Thrashed.
Mine doesn't. It's clean. I have to use Damaged for distortion, everything is not distorted at all. |

For a Metallica Master of Puppets tone
I set it on "Thrashed", and then go to the effects and put on a little delay (almost so litle it like reverb, but dont use reverb it blends everything together and makes it sound sloppy)
Set the bass to around 9 o clock, set the mids to around 1&1/2 o clock, set the treble at 1 o clock and turn the gain all the way up as well as the volume (not master)
If it doesnt sound completely right, just reply back, bc Im doing this by memory.
Its a great amp you really just have to play with the gain and mids.
