Well it has been ages since I have actually done anything to my profile/been on this site, but here goes.
Over several months, I have now gotten a new amp, you can see it in my gear section, with pics too! I have recorded a reasonable, although simplistic song, and another song which is somewhat out of time and not as good, but yeah, a little sample of my songwriting, I may record and upload some more songs soon, but this computer isn't really good for recording.
I am also in an unnamed melodic death metal band, and I will hopefully be in a progressive metal band as well.
Hai to those of you who for some weird reason look at my blogs. After a lot of reasearch and money gathering, I've decided I want to get an Ibanez Tone blaster 150X head. I know Ibanez aren't famous for their amps, but this one seems pretty good and I like the features, and its cheap too.
Its costing me about $600 and a bit more for the shipping, Im getting it from another state, as I haven't found any stocked here. Im also going to be building a 4x12 speaker cabinet with celestion greenbag speakers. Stay tuned for pics when its finished.
Another ordinary school monday today, didnt need to goto school for the first two lessons so I sat and home and practiced the solos from Master of Puppets and Fade to Black (The outro solo) im getting decent at them now. I think I might try and learn the Creeping death solo later tonight after i do some dreaded homework ._. Im considering getting a second hand amp for my birthday + christmas present, then I can start looking for a band. My wah pedal also ran out of batteries seeing as i forgot to turn it off two nights ago, and i have no batterys at the moment so I have to get around to buying some.
Well i never post blogs anywhere, but i have nothing better to do. Today i went parkouring in the city for the first time in several months. I climbed things, jumped off things, ate hungry jacks, ate iced coffee, climbed more things, tore some muscles in my torso that have been hurting like hell,came home, friends came over, watched mean girls >< and metallica - some kind of monster. I played my friends behrigner strat copy, the tonelesss guitar, but my amp gives it some crunch anyway, i was happily playing then my guitar owning friend left, my girlfriend stayed for longer then everyone else, then she left, and ive been bored as hell ever since. So yeah.
