I know it's late, but just to say thank you very much for your comment.

Really appreciated it.

Look out for the odd post or two in my blog. Nothing prolific, but it's something.

Thanks again <3

Hello, How are you doing?

OOh, i dunno how i made that grammatical error. I'm usually pretty accurate with the words i choose. Or atleast i try too... I think i was gonna write something along the line of "you're a pretty good writer" which sorta ended up as what i wrote there.

And thanks for the little complement about my writing. I'm still learning and trying to get good at it... Got an idea for a song/poem which when i'm free something, i should put to words. Try to keep coming up with something better every time i write a new song. Haven't really herd anything from you lately apart from the little pieces in the Lyrics Game thread... Whats the matter with that?

So i wasn't wrong when i speculated your profile being an illusion!!

Aah well, it doesn't make much of a difference. Don't worry, i'm not gonna crucify you or burn you at stake for your blatant lies! :p

So how has it been going anyway?? I do see you randomly in the Songwriting n Lyrics forum... You do write pretty good.

Hey, remember to Pm me if you post something new in S+L so I can take a look at it.

I quite like what I've read so far (all two of them :) ))

Thats true. Saul Williams is a legend! He's the man and speaks the truth. Thats what true hip-hop/rap is and should be about.
Check this out: http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=TyxfN6K-AEY
and this is mindblowing: http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=ojDKI8JxfLs
Check out "When the Clock Strikes Me" too.

So yeah, for €17 its not much and there's no way i'm gonna miss this guy!

Hi,

You're not the only person that calls me "Af" so i dunno if it makes you more comfortable or less special!
But yeah, as i sorta made my way out of the writers block i had hit and i'm slowly getting back in a creative flow, i've been spending a significant amount of time in the S&L forum. Actually lately the only place i feel worth visiting on UG.

Anyway, Saul Williams is doing a gig at the Button Factory (Temple Bar Music Center) on the 12th of May. If you don't know about him, he's a truly mindblowingly amazing poet/hip-hop artist (worked with NIN on his latest album). Thought you'ld like to check him out as you're into poetry. You can check him out on Youtube, his stuff is really amazing and powerful. I'm pretty positive he's one guy i wouldn't wanna miss!

I hate SG's too.

Lp's sound a look great, but play like a....a bitch.

PRS and Fender ftw.

Oh I know. Next time I'm in Ireland I'll come visit you.

You can have a LP, except I don't like them. Hahaha

Well, you don't need to prove anything to me. I'll take your word for what you say.

And for me, well, my music, my word, my art, its all an artwork for me. Its an outlet for the fragile inner self that lies protected beneath a tough outer shell. Hidden, preserved and protected. But it needs to breathe. It needs to be heard when it speaks. It needs to be spoken of. It needs to hear.
You could either create this artwork to sell to the outer world. Or you could make it to create a part of you.
For me its the later. Something you can take refuge in from a world full of worthless and arrogant elitists.

Whoa, the Pit ain't a pretty place!

I'm sketchy at best with my Dublin geography, so I won't even pretend to know where that is.

I'm from the much more common Artane :(

You guessed it right. Profiles do speak a lot... though it can even be an illusion.

I wonder if your's is. But writing, music, piano and guitar does set people apart from the everyday crowd atleast in my eyes. Especially writing. Most people just seem to be too busy following the masses getting caught up with their everyday lives of pleasing everyone around them, few have time for anything of an intellectual value.

But then, profiles could even be just an illusion. A fake facade to fool the world.

You see, i do get around pretty well in this place. To explain for my comments section (which if you actually notice has been pretty inactive for a while!)

And Ringsend, thats pretty fancy!
Apart from the elitism i hope you don't blend in with the prep D4 crowd of smug accents, year round orange skin, tumor hair, A&F and Dubes....

Okay, too much stereotyping for a day! :p

Though you do seem quite intellectual...
And too early for any more complements!

See ya! ;)

Con job, hitting on a fellow Dublin chick already huh?! :p

Anyway, HI!!
Haven't seen you around much, what part of Dublin are you from? Maybe someday we could bump into each other if we're in the same neighborhood... ;)
