Anyway, Saul Williams is doing a gig at the Button Factory (Temple Bar Music Center) on the 12th of May. If you don't know about him, he's a truly mindblowingly amazing poet/hip-hop artist (worked with NIN on his latest album). Thought you'ld like to check him out as you're into poetry. You can check him out on Youtube, his stuff is really amazing and powerful. I'm pretty positive he's one guy i wouldn't wanna miss!

And for me, well, my music, my word, my art, its all an artwork for me. Its an outlet for the fragile inner self that lies protected beneath a tough outer shell. Hidden, preserved and protected. But it needs to breathe. It needs to be heard when it speaks. It needs to be spoken of. It needs to hear.
You could either create this artwork to sell to the outer world. Or you could make it to create a part of you.

I wonder if your's is. But writing, music, piano and guitar does set people apart from the everyday crowd atleast in my eyes. Especially writing. Most people just seem to be too busy following the masses getting caught up with their everyday lives of pleasing everyone around them, few have time for anything of an intellectual value.

But then, profiles could even be just an illusion. A fake facade to fool the world.
