Did you know that...

...guitar is an excellent tool to forget about being back in the loop on monday morning...

With all the basic, open chords in mind, G is probably the one I am having the most trouble with. Getting a nice, clean sound is no biggie, but a switch from, let's say D to G is still causing me trouble due to the eremite-properties of G - positioned at the very top as well as the very bottom of the fretboard.

Anyway, I asked one of my friends, who has way more experience with the guitar than I have, of ways to improve my relation to the G-chord. She recommended me to check out a version of Hallelujah (made famous by Leonard Cohen and infamous by Jeff Buckley) that uses the G chord alot. Linkie... This might seem like small-potatoes to any semi-skilled guitar player, but newcomers struggling with the G-chord should check it out. The fact that it also is a great tune doesn't hurt, right?

Well, tomorrow I'm heading to a store in town to get the strings replaced on my acoustic and the saddle tightened to the body. Will probably invest in a guitar-stand while I'm at it. But for the rest of the night, Hallelujah is scheduled...
