I had my doubts. Big, fat doubts, but this album is solid through and through.
There's Facelift riffs and solos along with Dirt/Tripod acoustic choruses, mixed with Degradation Trip experimental stuff. I just wish Jerry would drop into the background more when it comes to vocals. Will can sing really well and he doesn't get much of a chance.
September is great so far: Megadeth and AIC take the cake. Fuckin impressed!
Haven't listened it yet, gotta take a listen, i have very big doubts about it though since i haven't listened any Alice in Chains without Layne, it will never be the same or have the same feeling but we'll see... It can be good music anyway.
