So I'm just getting into Gojira [I've listened to From Mars.. and I think it's an incredible album]. I also like post-metal stuff [Neurosis, Isis, Russian Circles, Cult of Luna.. and the list goes on].
I had my doubts. Big, fat doubts, but this album is solid through and through.
There's Facelift riffs and solos along with Dirt/Tripod acoustic choruses, mixed with Degradation Trip experimental stuff. I just wish Jerry would drop into the background more when it comes to vocals. Will can sing really well and he doesn't get much of a chance.
September is great so far: Megadeth and AIC take the cake. Fuckin impressed!
Yesterday was crazy. Won't get into details, but the frustrating part was that I couldn't relax [aka play guitar] because I was having one of those bad guitar days. I felt like a cripple attempting at shredding
