Favorite bands :
I like a huge variety in music. Only thing I don't like very much is most of the current music out today. I'm not interested in it and it doesn't seem to appealing to me at all.
Favorite guitarists :
I don't really have any favorite guitarists, each one has their own special ability that I respect and hope to learn from.
Favorite bassists :
Let me put it this way, nothing cheers me up more than listening to the song Tommy the Cat.
Favorite books :
anything by Neil Gaiman. Mostly I real fantasy and science fiction. I like the classics as well.
Favorite movies :
I like most movies. New horrors are crap though.
So, I'm just a strange boy living in a world that wants me to conform. I live life day by day.
I have been playing music for almost my entire life. Started reading music at the age of 12. Played trumpet for three years then learned some other brass instruments. Stopped playing for a year (Freshman year at highschool). Picked up guitar just before I turned 16. I pretty much sucked at first but I learned fast. Music comes easy to me. Started learning bass when a friend gave me his acoustic bass. Since then I have been able to record many of my songs by myself, although I do prefer to jam with others.
-Update on the acoustic bass. A lent it out to a friend and he snapped the bridge in half. The guys at the guitar store said that it would cost more to fix it than the bass was worth. So I sold the busted thing and got myself a brand new electric bass with a a nice bass amp.
The bands I have been in are, Flies in the Marketplace and Alex and The Jew. Both of these I'm no longer in now. Now I am just soloing it for the time being. Waiting for another person who feels like jamming to come along.
