The burn hasn't fully healed, and I think it's left a permenant scar... oh well... just looks a bit odd. Anyway, I have a new band! I'm back on the geetar and vocals in Chasing Melfina, an alt. rock band!

We're recording our debut EP, 'Schrodinger's Cat's Not Dead' at The Crash Factory in Nottingham in the 3rd week of October, but until then we're recording our London Purple Turtle gig on the 30th for your listening pleasure!
I honestly can't wait for you to hear this stuff- it's amazing.
Hi all. Typing with one hand sucks, so I'll keep this brief.
Last night I suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns to my left hand in a kitchen accident. The pain is excruciating, and almost all movement in that hand has been lost, which means... no more music. I'll know today at the earliest if I'll ever even regain movement, let alone play again, and even then I have to probably kiss goodbye to most of my 'mad skillz'.
As such, if the worst comes to worst, I shall be selling all of my gear in favour of electronic gizmos so I can continue doing what I love.

Hi all!
I am pleased to announce that TINADT are commencing the recording of our debut album! It shall feature 9 tracks of sheer post-rock perfection, and it'll be clocking in at around the 50 minute mark. As you can imagine these songs are pretty long, averaging about 5 and a half minutes, but it'll all make sense when you're listening to it. The 'opus' will include re-workings of all 5 demo tracks and 4 new songs including 'Six Little Dots', which we premiered at the Purple Turtle on Jan 14th.
This week we're recording all the drums and guitar, so I'm not needed until next week when we're recording the bass, so I'm going to be keeping myself occupied in other ways this week, such as by keeping you updated on everything.

Woah- for a minute there I thought I'd lost you! How's stuff? Stuff is good- This Is Not A Dead Transmission are getting an album underway, so I'm working my little arse off to make sure the album's low-end will rock your socks off. Needless to say, I'm more excited about this than I've ever been about... well, anything! That said, I'm not exactly in the Christmas spirit, so to speak, because I lost my job yesterday- sucks! Oh well- back on the dole I go! I just hope this puts to rest any myths that working musicians have any money at all.
So, I guess this brings me to say 'Merry Christmas' to all of you 'orrible lot, and I hope you have a good 'un. If you're sat here feeling all tetchy and offended, then I hope you have a kwazy Kwanza, a happy Hannukah or a solemn and dignified Ramadan.
