Sorry, I never replied to this, but I figure I'll reply to it now. UCSB wasn't really my top choice, but despite its reputation as a party school it really is a fantastic school academically, definitely a reputable school for academics. And it's just beautiful there, it's literally on the coast, look at this
And you won't get bored, Santa Barbara is a really nice town, lots to do. However, since I'm at community college I'll be transferring in a year and I dont plan on transferring to UCSB, I'm looking more at UCLA or UCSD.
