Many thanks for your kind wishes :) Life is short, but I'm still rather young so things will even out eventually. There are plenty of times in my life right now when I don't feel depressed; it's only when bad things happen. Right now, there are a lot of important things I must think about, so I must be feeling the best in my mind!

I'm not letting it consume me OR my talents, I'm merely using it to amplify my talents. I honestly write better when I have some real emotion behind it, and depression just makes it easier to reach those emotions for me...I have a hard time with reaching into myself because the emotion I have felt the most is sadness...it brings back horrid memories, and I hate to have to dig them out. Depression does it automatically, so when I have time and am depressed, I can easily just sit down and write. It helps me release my emotions, thats all.

Oi \m/ You's ever tried running the midis through drum/bass vst's ? Usually even the simplest drum simulation sounds WAYS better than regular midi. Your covers are proficient enough to deserve some harder-pounding drums. Drop a line if you are interested and need some guidance. Up them f-ng irons!

hey bro, thanks for the heads up on vst's! i have vst's in my recording software, but not sure how to use them, but would like to learn how to make better sounding drums. any help would be awesome, thanks!

Sounds like things should be going quite well for you :D I respect your opinion, but I will say that I write DSBM (Depressive/Suicidal black metal) which was most likely started by suicidal degenerates. I honestly cannot control my depression..it comes and goes as my life changes for the better or worse.

Yeah I normally pride myself on it, I can loosen up quite easily, but it's just getting that exact feel to it, I'll add my own flavour of course but I'd like to get close to Knopflers style just to say I can!

Ahaha everything is better without Bono! :D Awesome news on college man, well done! And Faith No More, sickkkkkkk! Need to listen to them a lot more than I do!

Sultans, eh ? That should be very interesting to hear.. the feel, man, the feel. How's the UK ?

Yeah, the toughest part so far has been finding a suitable tone, even with a GT10 I can't seem to even get close :( , trying to get the loose sort of feel Knopfler gets has been quite an experience too, since I'm normally quite robotic, keeping everything 'within the lines' if that makes sense.

The UK is pretty good right now, the weather can't make up its mind but when its hot its hot, so I've spent my summer whittling away my overdraft and just enjoying the time as best I can really. You been upta much recently?

@Your MP3 Comment; Aha I will do at some point, I'd just been playing the lead a lot, so I figured I'd take a reference take so in a few weeks I can do it again and see if there's a marked improvement. After that I'm going to do the same with Sultans of Swing which I've been playing a few times a day :D I need to record some skill snippets too, so maybe some 3/4/5 string sweeps if you're lucky :p

And cheers for the input man :D

Exactly. And yes, it's very impersonal, but then again, what can be more personal than a show at the local club ? I had the incredible opportunity to alone witness one of my favourite singers here in BG doing an improvised solo acoustic set in his hotel room, I believe only such occasions can get more personal than that :> Which reminds me.. no matter how "big" you are, always treat your most loyal fans right - it's a happy/happy situation in the end, and after all, isn't happiness ultimately what we need ? =]

I couldn't agree with you more really. The whole artist to fan is such an important relationship to me. I don't know how you couldn't treat someone who adores your music with the utmost respect and kindness. I like your attitude- I wish more people were positive :)

Hehe, better make sure said person is a millionaire then You've obviosly got the tallent, and the determination. Play shows and maintain a good YouTube/MySpace profile because the internet offers huge exposure nowdays and exposure plus a little bit of luck is all you need at this stage.. besides writing songs and practicing ;]

I know what you mean. The internet has really allowed people to have the opportunity to get some good exposure. I find it to be a good tool. It's a bit impersonal at times, but in the same respect you're able to get a message across to so many more people.

Oh well that would be a dream, but I consider making it even if just one person enjoys my music. It's a great feeling either way.

Respect deserved, dude. Come here in the summer when you've reached 18, get wasted on cheap, quality liqour and kebabs, then get the f away for your mercy. Our land is beautiful, our country - a miserable disaster. But we, bulgarians, are welcoming and we stick together.
Have a look at this site: http://seir.bg/ I believe you know enough BG to get most of the fun. "Сеир/Seir" is a word that remains from turkish. In Bulgaria it is a synonim to "зрелище/zrelishte" - a word for an (usually obscene) sight, scene, spectacle. "Гледам сеир/Gledam seir" - "I'm watching the fun."

I'd love to come there! The Bulgarian people seem to be very nice, and I am sure I'd be more than welcome if I learned their language. I will definitely check that site out, and ask you any questions I may have. Do you know any good resources for le
