So I got Avenged Sevenfolds new self titled album yesterday and I love it. I think the song "Dear God" the one that sounds country is one of the best songs on the CD and "Gunslinger" is also one of my favorites. I like the rest too but it will take a little bit longer for those to grow on me. Overall I am happy with the direction they went.
If I had an acustic guitar I would problably try to record "Gunslinger" because I have already learnt it but I am very picky with recording anyways. I want to get the BOSS Acustic Simulator effect pedal so I dont need an acustic guitar and I also want the Spider III amp.
So I bought a Limited Editon Epiphone G-400 Les Paul Custom, and I love it so much. Its white and everything is gold it looks amazing. Some people that I know are calling it "Jesus's Guitar" because they say when I open the case it just glows. I rock on it and now I actually have a guitar and not some peice that I got from my brother.
I might upload some mp3's soon but I am picky so my recordings have to be perfect lol.
Avenged Sevenfold is officialy my favorite band. I cant wait for their new album release on 10-30-07.
Anyways I slacked off practice wise a lot durring summer and now I have to make up for it. Im getting back to my previous skill level quickly though. Right now I am trying to learn Critical Aclaim by A7X its a fun song.
