I usually just get an idea for a rythm and just guess and check until it's right. I actually think that using fruity loops so much has actually helped out my rythm playing on guitar. I'm better at staying in time than before.

Yeah, they were all done in fruity loops. The first one (dark Water) shouldn't really count as a fruity loops production, though because I only used two of their instruments (piano and bells) and used the reverb to process some of the sounds. The rest of the sounds were all from VST plugins.
dark water took me probably 4 or 5 hours; I'm not really sure because I didn't sit down thinking, " Hey, I'm going to compose a song right now." All I did was make a couple chords that I liked and went from there.
As for "Octopus Indigo", I have no clue how long that took. It was made using only standard fruity loop sounds and nothing fancy. I think that was the first song that I ever made from using that program, about a year or two ago.
