darkstar2466 wrote on Dec 17th, 2007 10:19pmYeah dude, I looked around but no other information exists of that Tony Martin Dehumanizer. Maybe someday, I'll run into it and celebrate.
Have you checked out the Heaven and Hell live at Radio City Hall DVD? It's amazing. quote |

darkstar2466 wrote on Dec 11th, 2007 4:17amI was reading some article and I found out that Sabbath recorded a version of Dehumanizer with Tony Martin on vocals, when they weren't sure if Dio was going to be around or not. It was never released, but I hear copies of it exist. I NEED IT! quote |

darkstar2466 wrote on Nov 21st, 2007 4:17amYea man, I went to H&H, and it was the best day of my life. To see my favorite quartet perform live was a dream come true; of all Sabbath eras, the Dio era is most dear to me. Falling Off the Edge Of the World, Children Of the Sea, and Sign Of the Southern Cross were my three favorites from the whole show. Children Of the Sea was so perfect, it was probably the happiest I've ever been in my life, just watching them play it. But yea, I'm way down for the Tony Martin albums. I just listened to Headless Cross today, and that title track kicks a lot of ass. Which one is your favorite? quote |
darkstar2466 wrote on Nov 19th, 2007 11:44pmYea it is Dopamine. You know your Iommi stuff well.
I didn't know I had a previous warning, so I got banned for suggesting the guy to get the guitar. It's pretty sketchy that happened. I currently have a shitty-ass old Epiphone SG that I bought off a friend for 50 bucks, and I play it with a Line 6 Guitar Port on my computer. After I master sweeps and economy picking, and learn lots of music theory, I'll reward myself with the Gibson Iommi and that Laney-Mesa/Boogie combo I want. So I assume you're not one of those Ozzy fanboys that hate Dio? So many people neglect other Sabbath eras too. I'm a huge fan of the Tony Martin albums. quote |
