Hi, my name is Tom. I'm 15, and i'm from Bristol. I've been playing guitar since September 2005. I started on a cheap acoustic guitar which cost me Ј40 (bought from my school). I had lessons at my school until January (I think), when i bought my first electric, the Squier Strat, and decided to invest in Private Lessons. I stuck with the guitar, practicing every day and getting better and better. A year later, i bought my Jackson Pro Series DK2 Dinky, which is still my favourite guitar i've played so far. I also bought a Marshall Special Edition AVT50. This amp is brilliant! I only use the clean settings these days, and they are perfect, especially when you kick in some of the built in Reverb. I use Jim Dunlop XL Series Jazz plectrums with Ernie Ball Top Heavy Bottom Nickel Wound strings (10-52). I currently own 3 Effects Pedals - The EHX Metal Muff, the Boss CE-5 Chorus Ensemble, and the Boss DD-3 Digital Delay.
I mainly play Metal, but i also play other genres such as Hard Rock and Indie.
