Matt_Synyster wrote on Feb 8th, 2008 8:39pmWill I need a transformer to change the voltage of the Carvin V3?
From like 220/210 volts to 110 volts or the other way round, something like that anyways...
I'm not sure about this but an external transformer may add noise =/. And good ones are expensive and bulky..
I'm sure a good tech could replace the transformer in the amp, but that may also be expensive.
Does the V3 have an input voltage switch by any chance?

Diamond Dave wrote on Jan 16th, 2008 6:07ami find there is a noticeable performance increase but percentage wise it isnt as great as the increase in price.
it just depends on your demand for performance, for me i set out a budget for my whole computer and i had enough to accommodate the GTS. if you will be stretching to afford the GTS you might be better off getting the GT instead quote |
Matt_Synyster wrote on Dec 28th, 2007 1:58pmAlright dude Thinking of getting a Carvin V3 head + cab or Carvin V3 combo, what do you reckon to them?
I'm gonna play hard rock and metal, but use the cleans too.
