because UG is kind of being a dick, i'll give you some insight. most successful pop punk bands use mesa dual rectifiers or jcm 900 halfstacks. a new dual rec halfstack will run you right up to your limit, but 4x12s with roadcases go used locally for about $900, so i'd recommend going used. a dual rec is signifcantly cheaper used too, but if you've got the cash you might as well spend it...
