First time going was great, second time was okay.
I love it, its my country man. But honestly, I have a hard time assimilating myself. I'm so used to American culture and my American way of life. I just have a hard time down there. I find my self being the outsider more than usual. Last trip to Lebanon is when my depression really kicked in. To be honest, I'm not looking forward to going too much.
However, maybe this year will be different? I've toned up and sculpted a little bit of a six pack, so I'm ready for relentless hours at the beach (pretty much all I'm looking forward to this year).
It's a great place to visit for 2-3 weeks. Past that it gets to you, or it gets to me at least. Staying 2+ months is draining for me. |
Do you visit family there, or just go for vacational purposes? Also, how's the food? I've only had kibby (chicken and rice >_> )

You can always buy records and save them until you get a turntable. I had King Crimison and Camel vinyls galore months before I got my record player. Ah well, least you get to go to Lebanon, I get it's epic there, right?
