Famous

Current mood: contemplative

This is another poem, (2nd blog), and it is about my best friend, and how she's going to leave in March. I let her and some of my other friends read it, and they loved it.

I hope the people on UG like it too. :D

Famous

It's late October and the leaves haven't changed color,

And a girl signs her name for the

1000th time

For future autographs.

Inside her head are Morrison quotes

("I am me,")

The Cobain journals, and Lennon and Bowie

Songs to live by.

Girl, you're gonna be famous.

It's early December and she's playing guitar

In the dark

A sad song: the stars seem to cry for her

They're leaving a shining

Glowing

Breathing mark

On the strings.

It's a song she'd played once before.

Girl, you're gonna be famous.

Dark blonde curls,

The smell of New York.

That was last November but

Those leaves changed color.

Cobain would've missed her.

Girl, you're gonna be famous.

March would end all of this and

The leaves would be reborn.

Nothing will be left but the

Leaves from

Last year and the years before

And hopefully they were caught on camera,

Girl, you're gonna be famous...

Thanks for reading!

Peace, love, and rock.
