I am 'Leviathan' (Quotations needed because some inconsiderate person took my originally planned user name.)
I became a UG member in 2007, and are apparently considered a real NON NOOB, for reasons beyond my control. (But I'm not complaining.)
I like a lot of the Progressive Rock elements and bands such as Rush and Symphony X, but Dream Theater take the cake for the kings of Progressive Metal. I also enjoy a lot of Classic Rock, like Led Zeppelin, Chuck Berry, AC/DC and Deep Purple. I can also listen to Black Metal and Death Metal. Pretty much every genre I can enjoy. People think I'm mature because of this. I like that.
My axe is an awesome Fender Squire Stratocaster, which I cherish with all my heart. It has a cool scratch on the side which was there when I got it, and I love that too. It is also signed by Dream Theater, however Mike Portnoys signature is almost rubbed off. (Why did he have to sign where my arms rests?) I got a whammy bar with it, and this really awesome pick that came with my guitar strap. As crappy as it is, it makes me play much better than this $6 metal plectrum I've got. My amp is an 80 Watt Marshall. I love it to bits. The distortion, tone and clean channel are all crystal clear. It also came with this real dodgy lead, which has been recently replaced with a not so dodgy lead. That set me back about $20. I have a habit of storing stuff in the back compartment, like my leads, music book and stuff. Most of it doesn't fit, but get over it. It sounds good, so it's all cool.
My biggest hobbies are Music and Animation. I love using Flash, and have made some really good animations over the years. I also record every practice session on my guitar, in case I think of something really cool. I hope to upload an MP3 pretty soon.
